Aug 31st
HIV makes you more vulnerable to infection, by compromising your immune system. So those with HIV infection, tend to get viral, bacterial, fungal and protozoan infections more often than others.

Chest infection in adults
May 18th
Acute bronchitis is a short-term infection of the lining of the air tubes of the lungs, which are known as the bronchi. The infection is usually caused by a virus, and often follows a cold or influenza (flu). Smoking increases your chances of developing the infection.
Respiratory tract infection — Bronchiolitis
May 14th
Bronchiolitis is most commonly caused by an airborne virus known as the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). This causes the smallest airways in the lungs (the bronchioles) to become infected and inflamed (swollen). The inflammation reduces the amount of air entering the lungs, making it more difficult for the child to breathe.
Avian influenza (or bird flu)
