The Symptoms of Loss of Appetite (Anorexia)
Aug 21st
People with anorexia often believe that their value as a person is related to their weight and how they look. They think that this is what makes other people like them. And that other people will like them more if they are thinner — they see their weight loss as positive.

Varicose veins develop when the small valves inside the veins stop working properly. In a healthy vein, blood flows smoothly to the heart, and is prevented from flowing backwards by a series of tiny valves, which open and close to let blood through. If these valves weaken or are damaged, the blood can flow backwards and can collect in the vein, eventually causing it to be varicose.
Preventing high blood pressure
May 21st
Regular exercise will make your heart and blood circulatory system more efficient, it will lower your cholesterol level, and keep your blood pressure at a healthy level. For most people, thirty minutes of vigorous exercise a day, at least five times a week, is recommended. The exercise should be strenuous enough to leave your heart beating faster, and you should feel slightly out of breath afterwards. Examples of vigorous exercise include going for a brisk walk, or walking up a hill.
